Career
Camila Mendes was always interested in acting. Her first commercial acting gig for the commercial for the brand IKEA. In 2016, she got the an opportunity to be a part of the CW’s drama for teens, Riverdale. The actress gained a lot of fame as well as recognition due to her performance of the silver-tongued senior in high school Veronica Lodge.
She made her film debut in 2018 in the film called the New Romanticwhere she played the character of Morgan. The film premiering during SXSW Festival in March 2018. SXSW Festival , which took place in the middle of March of 2018. Then she was featured on the Netflix love story The Ideal Date. This film also starred Laura Marano and Matt Walsh.
In 2020, she co-starred in the critically well-received comedy/sci-fi film Palm Springs. In this film, she played the character of Tala and it premiering during the Sundance Film Festival. In 2018, she appeared as a Dancer in Maggie Rogers’s music video Give A Little. In the same year she also played Riley on the video for The Chainsmokers featuring Emily Warren known as “Side Effects”.
